When and where is GoSec 2026 taking place?

September 23–24, 2026 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal (201 Viger Avenue West). Two full days of conferences, workshops, and networking in downtown Montreal. 

What makes GoSec different from other cybersecurity conferences?

GoSec focuses on practical, real-world cybersecurity. The event is designed for professionals protecting their organizations every day: analysts, CISOs, SOC teams, security architects, risk managers, and more. 

Is the event bilingual?

Yes. Sessions are offered in both French and English, and each one is identified by language in the program.

How can I register for GoSec26?

Click on the registration page, select your ticket(s), click on ‘Get Tickets’, then follow the on-screen instructions for the payment. Available packages are:

Are promo codes or group rates available?

Yes. Some partners and communities offer promo codes. For group registrations, contact [email protected]. 

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?

Yes. Contact [email protected] with the new participant’s information. 

Are tickets refundable?

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Ticket transfers are usually the best option. 

Does my ticket include access to recordings after the event?

Yes. All ticket types include access to session recordings through Swapcard. 

How do I get to the Palais des congrès? 

The venue is directly connected to Place-d’Armes metro station (orange line). Several parking options are available nearby. From Montréal-Trudeau Airport, expect about 25 minutes by taxi or via the 747 shuttle. 

Will food be provided?

The All-Inclusive ticket includes breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, and cocktail networking. The Hybrid Access ticket includes breakfasts, coffee breaks, and cocktail networking. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. 

What is Swapcard?

Swapcard is the platform used for live streaming, networking, participant messaging, and post-event recordings. 

Can I attend fully remotely?

Absolutely. The Virtual ticket gives you access to all live and on-demand sessions through Swapcard. 

Will sessions be recorded?

Yes. All keynotes and workshops will be available on demand after the event.

How can I submit a conference proposal?

The submission form is available at gosec.net/call-for-speakers. We are looking for practical and relevant topics such as case studies, demos, applied research, and real-world experience. Second round deadline: June 30. 

What presentation formats are available?

Standard sessions are 45 minutes including Q&A. Workshop, training, and panel formats are also available. 

How can I attend VIP events?
